Hi Everyone:

This is our first email newsletter and we hope it finds you all in good health and good cheer.

We would like to extend our apologies to those of you who did not receive an invitation to our 2007 Christmas House. It was to have gone out via email, however, the server refused to send it. In the near future we intend to have Michaela cloned and completely interfaced with computer chips. It is completely baffling to us how these things work, or in this case, don’t work. However, we believe we now have worked out the bugs.

Miriam, our daughter was unable to attend last year’s Christmas House due to her baby’s birth. Daniel arrived October 12, but was a bit on the tiny side, so required hospitalization for a few weeks, and then two hour feedings after that. Mum and dad and son are doing well now, and of course the grandparents are over the moon!

Michaela will be teaching two Beginner Watercolour Workshops through Malaspina College in Duncan, this spring. February 23 and 24, and April 26 and 27. Both take place on the weekends, and we believe the February class is filling up fast. You can contact the College at (250) 746-3519 for information regarding times, fees, and supply lists.

She will also be teaching a workshop through Malaspina College in Nanaimo, to take place at Milner Gardens in Qualicum Beach, B.C. on July 22 and 23. You can contact them at the Nanaimo Campus for further information.

You can now access our new web site at www.michaeladavidsonart.com and download a free cross-platform screensaver with 35 changing images. The new website also shows many gift and jewelry items.

Some of you may be aware that Michaela also works in stained, fused and slumped glass. If you are in need of a stained glass window for your home, you are welcome to view some of her new pieces which will be displayed in our Duncan store “Michaela’s” beside Shoppers, and Safeway in Duncan, the latter part of February. Some of our clients have also asked if Michaela’s art is available in a larger format, and up until now, it has not been. However, we can now produce CANVAS LIMITED EDITION PRINTS, to your size specification in most of her images. You can enquire at either Gallery in Duncan or Lake Cowichan for a price on any piece and size.
